Release Systems

Sportsman’s challenge now carries Long Range release systems. These systems are a great addition to any clay target machine. With a variety of systems to choose from there is sure to be one that will meet your needs. We offer the 4300 series transmitters and receivers, voice activated systems and delay systems. The wireless systems work well because each shooting stand uses a different frequency.

The 4300 Transmitters and Receivers are manufactured to the highest standards and include components made by Texas Instruments and Atmel Corporation.  The circuit boards are all manufactured and assembled in the United States. These systems have 255 separate channels or frequencies. This ensures that there is no interference from adjacent fields. Each channel can operate up to 15 clay target machines. Voice activated are great for solo shooters. These systems offer the best way to practice or just have fun. The actual system is small and self contained eliminating the need to drag around pull cords. If there are more then one person practicing at a time the microphone can easily be unplugged and the transmitters can be used as normal by pressing the buttons. Delay timers are connected with the clay machines “Pull Cord” and delay the machine after the release button is pressed. The timers can be set anywhere from instant to a 6 second delay with the turn of a knob. These timers are ideal for the solo shooter to practice. When setting targets it can make all of the difference between a good “True Pair” and a really good “True Pair.” This timer complies with the NSCA rule regarding “Electronically Controlled True Pairs.”
